Waves: Perceptions of Light and Sound

An exhibit of abstract acrylic paintings by Kara Ruth Snyder which seeks to harness the properties of the wave form. The impulse, the motion, the travel, the action and the impact, both literal and symbolic. Waves are all around us. There are sound waves, light waves, there are waves of wind and water. And then there are the waves of human emotion and healing energy. The physical wave form itself, with its crest and trough and traveling force, can be seen as a metaphor for our cosmic reality.
