Below is a listing of some exhibitions I will be displaying work in.  Hope to see you at one of these interesting venues!
 
 
Tone it UP! at Pittsburgh Center for the Arts opened on May 11, 2012.
 
This juried exhibition, sponsored by Pittsburgh Society of Artists, asks artists to explore topics that they are passionate about and “tone it up” in their expression of those passions in whatever media they wish from traditional to video and installation art.
  
I have two large abstract paintings displayed in this show.  One is called “Listen”–a 48 x 48″ mixed media piece– and the other one is called “Kundalini Calling” — a 48 x 60″ mixed media painting.  (See pictures below).  Show runs through Joly 22 at the Pittsburgh Center for the Arts

Solo Exhibition at Frank L. Melega Art Museum – June 2 
 
 
 
                                          Kundalini Rising
 
Pictured above is a 48 x 60″ piece entitled “Kundalini Rising”.  It is a mixed media piece created with acrylic paint, oil sticks and pumice on canvas.  This piece, along with many other large scale abstract paintings, will be on display at my solo show entitled “Inward Morning” at the Melega Art Museum in Brownsville, PA.
 
My one-person show at the Melega Art Museum in Brownsville, PA will feature my abstract work, including some charcoal sketches of the human form.  10% of sales will benefit the
 
The show will be up through August 26, 2012.  Opening reception is Saturday, June 2, from 1:00 – 5:00 PM.
